I just called the apartment office... to see if my new lease is ready *yet*... given my current one expires on Tuesday. I only asked to renew about two months ago, and have been phoning them weekly all of May.
Yes, it's ready. I can come any time.
WELL THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL AND LET ME KNOW?!?
