Snowflake Monday

I finally managed to do a snowflake on Snowflake Monday. ;) It's the same as one I did before, but gave away:

I haven't blocked it yet. I figure I'll get a bunch done, then block them all at once.

It's now 11:26, and time for all hell to break loose on Franklin Street. I turned on the last few minutes of the game, and Carolina won by about 3 or 4 points. (The TV is in the other room, so I can't read the numbers from here.) I can hear the helicopters overhead. Photos of the craziness will appear in tomorrow's paper, so I'll blog about it then. ;)

Kelli and I had a nice walk today, and took photos of some fruit trees that were blooming. We both agree that redbud trees fall into the "a nice thing about NC" category. She was telling me how her grandparents used to have a redbud tree, but it got knocked down by a moving truck. I suggested that they plant another, but she said it just never happened. I offered to help plant one... because then I'll get to see some of Wilmington. ;) So... I might get to see Wilmington one of these days.

Update: Carolina won 75-70. The announcer read out the score.

I finished off my big stack of dishes tonight, and even did it after dinner. I have all clean dishes! :) I'm going to go to SNB tomorrow, and treat myself to pizza at Foster's Market. They make good pizza. Plus, I won't have more dishes to wash. ;) I can't afford to eat out often, but I like to treat myself occasionally. I think I'll get the greek one this time, which has olives, feta, artichoke hearts, and other yummy stuff. I tried a slice of someone else's once, and it was *really* good.

Kelli: I have my brother's birthday card ready to mail, so this is your reminder to phone about the chip in your windshield. ;)

Yes'm - 75 to 70, and I'm still shaking!!! That was an exciting game, but I'm glad now that I stayed home to watch rather than going to campus, where everyone could have listened to my overuse of foul language. :-)

I'm going to put the phone number for the insurance/glass place in my bag right now. Thanks for the reminder!

I like your pretty little snowflake. Hope your allergies get better. Pollen sucks.
