Summary

Here's a summary of the other things I was going to blog about, except for the crochet math, which I think I'll leave for another day. I still have way too many chores left to do today.

Yesterday was nice, although it rained a couple times. In between showers it was sunny, though.

I didn't want to get up at 6 yesterday morning (waaaay too early for a Saturday), and the rain didn't help. However, a songbird was singing prettily outside my window, and that helped.

The women's breakfast was okay. I got to talk to some of the candidates. I was hoping for pancakes, but they didn't have any at the buffet, and they didn't offer menus like previous years. So I had a few hashbrowns (called "home fries" down here), a slice of crispy bacon, a biscuit, and a blueberry muffin. Oh, and some grapefruit juice that was probably "drink" rather than "juice", given how sweet it was. :P

After breakfast I went back to my office and tried to stay awake until my demo at 10:20. I managed to stay awake, and the demo went fine, although I only got to talk to two candidates. I got all of my errands done quickly afterwards, except of course for the package.

I picked up some yummy treats at Whole Foods yesterday, and *boy* did I eat well! I don't think I helped my weightloss goals one single bit. I bought some crumbled feta for my cabbage salads, a selection of yummy olives from the "olive bar", some terrific black bean dip, "guiltless gourmet" red corn chips to go with the dip, and a chocolate filled pastry. Mmmmmm! Boy, was I eating good yesterday! Yummy, yummy, yummy! The chocolate pastry reminds me of some I had in Barcelona, but the ones in Barcelona were a bit better: they had a higher chocolate to pastry ratio. ;)

I didn't do my dishes yesterday because my wrist was too sore, and now I have a mountain of dishes to wash before I can eat dinner. :P *sigh*

Ro: you asked me to interview you, but I already did previously. (I remember asking you what Robin Hood character you identified most with, or something along those lines.) Do you want me to interview you again?

Okay, I think I'm caught up now, except for reading everyone else's blogs, flashing my stash, and talking about the math of crochet. I think I'll go wash my dishes now. (My stomach is hinting that it would like dinner in the not too distant future.)

Andrea, I thought that it was round two of interviews, like a different set or something; interviews, the sequel! So that's okay, no need to re-interview. One interview for me is more than enough for anyone to have to do LOL

hugs!
