"Severe" Weather Warning

Weather.com has a warning for my area today:

... COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON ON THE WAY...

A DRY COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS THIS MORNING... AND WILL MOVE EAST AND OFF THE COAST IN THE AFTERNOON. THE FIRST ARCTIC COLD AIR OF THE SEASON WILL BEGIN TO FILTER IN BEHIND THE FRONT TONIGHT AND WILL PERSIST THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEK.

HIGHS TUESDAY WILL ONLY REACH INTO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 40S ACROSS CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA. THEN BY TUESDAY NIGHT AND EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING... THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES SO FAR THIS WINTER ARE EXPECTED WITH LOWS RANGING FROM THE TEENS TO LOWER 20S ACROSS THE REGION. THESE TEMPERATURES WILL AVERAGE 10 TO 15 DEGREES BELOW SEASONAL NORMALS.

RESIDENTS ACROSS CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA SHOULD PREPARE FOR THESE COLD TEMPERATURES WEEK AS IT HAS BEEN QUITE MILD DURING THE PAST WEEK OR SO....

Hmmm...

(a) I wish they would discover this amazing phenomenom called "lower case"
(b) *That's* not cold!!!
(c) I guess it'll help prepare me for Winnipeg weather... Canada, here I come! (Well, not for a few days yet...)

Maybe it'lll get cold enough that I can try out my new mittens? :)
