Sea Silk

The evil (not really... I actually love them) Ram Wools has sent me their regular e-mail of temptation. This issue includes the fascinating-sounding "sea silk" by Fleece Artist: "A light, super-smooth lace weight knitting yarn composed of 70% silk and 30% sea cell (a cellulose fiber from sea weed). The sea cell fiber actually releases beneficial minerals to your skin. It's like wearing your own spa treatment!" It's pretty too:

I have no idea what I'd make with it... so it's probably good that it costs more than I'd want to pay. ;)

Knowing your luck, since the sea cell is plant based, you'd be allergic to it, especially if it really does release minerals to your skin.
