At The End Of My Rope

... or yarn, more accurately. Here's my toque:
My So Called Tuque My So Called Tuque
and here's how much yarn is left:
My So Called Tuque
...barely enough to weave in, let alone finish this sucker off. :(

Options:
1. See if someone has some leftover of this colour Manos they don't need.
2. Finish with a different yarn.
3. Call it a really wide headband.
4. Phone the yarn shop in Fredericton and see how much it would cost to ship me an additional skein. (Eep!)

For now, this fantastic hat is sadly a UFO. :(

3 words. Really. Huge. Pompom.

Seriously, if you can't find extra yarn I'd frog back a bit and make a nice, cooshy headband--wide, but not too wide, and very warm.

Hee hee!

But it's sooo nice as a tuque.

I have leftover manos, but not that colorway! :( maybe poke around people's stashes on ravelry? heh.

do you have a coordinating yarn at around the same gauge in stash?

I think I saw one person on Ravelry that has this colour, but they're planning on making a scarf, so they'll need all of the two balls they have.

The exact same thing happened to me while knitting a hat, in just about the same spot, too. I just used a different color -- I thought it turned out well. :)
