This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.
Oooo... neat! Pretty paper beads. :) Hmmm... I wonder... if you coated these with enough sealer of some sort, would they be machine washable? (I'm thinking they look rather like toggles.)
i think the main problem would be getting htem sealed on the inside. maybe if you dipped them in the polyeurathane? or whatever? i don't think you could use a brush-on or spray-on. nice idea, though! maybe you could use wall-paper that's vinyl based?
Hi - glad you like my beads. I have put some UTEE on a couple (it's quite boring, so I need to psych myself up to do the rest!), but I don't think they'd ever be washable. But that's mostly because after all the messing about, I'd be gutted if they unravelled so I can't try! xx
Wonder what would happen if you tried stamping/dying on fabric (ooooo – silk) and fused to light interfacing so it wouldn't unravel. Or what if it did unravel? : )
