Try

This morning's "song in the head" is "Try" by Nelly Furtado:
All I know
Is everything is not as it's sold
but the more I grow the less I know
And I have lived so many lives
Though I'm not old
And the more I see, the less I grow
The fewer the seeds the more I sow

Then I see you standing there
Wanting more from me
And all I can do is try
Then I see you standing there
Wanting more from me
And all I can do is try

I wish I hadn't seen all of the realness
And all the real people are really not real at all
The more I learn, the more I learn
The more I cry, the more I cry
As I say goodbye to the way of life
I thought I had designed for me

Then I see you standing there
Wanting more from me
And all I can do is try
Then I see you standing there
I'm all I'll ever be
But all I can do is try
Try

All of the moments that already passed
We'll try to go back and make them last
All of the things we want each other to be
We never will be
And that's wonderful, and that's life
And that's you, baby
This is me, baby
And we are, we are, we are, we are
Free
In our love
We are free in our love

While I'm posting lyrics here, I want to include these that I saw at Zeneedle's blog a while back... "A Lovely Day" by Bill Withers:
When I wake up in the morning, love
And the sunlight hurts my eyes
And something without warning, love
Bears heavy on my mind

Then I look at you
And the world's alright with me
Just one look at you
And I know it's gonna be
A lovely day
... lovely day, lovely day, lovely day ...

When the day that lies ahead of me
Seems impossible to face
When someone else instead of me
Always seems to know the way

Then I look at you
And the world's alright with me
Just one look at you
And I know it's gonna be
A lovely day.....
I used to have this. :(

Last night I went to SNB and had a great time... at one point I laughed so hard I could barely talk. (Cori and I were describing the commercial "March of the Emperors".) However, when I got home again I was just as blue. SNB was only a very temporary pick-me-up. Mason-Dixon Knitting is pretty cheery:

But it also seems to produce a desire for a little baby girl. ;)

The sweater is adorable.

It's natural to be feeling blue now-I swear it'll pass-warmer weather will help it pass, really!

I know you have reasons to feel blue, but even if you didn't, 'tis the season, as my good doctor puts it. He swears that the times leading up to season changes are crazy-making for most folks. Should improve after the vernal equinox. I hope, for both our sakes. *hugs*
