The "Real Knit & Gem Machine" came back into the office so I could figure out how flat knitting works. Again, it's not terribly intuitive. It also doesn't do a good job of knitting:


The ugly spots are still structurally sound, but I'm thinking there's a reason they encourage you to use fun fur: the fur hides the uglies.

I bought one of these for a birthday gift for an 8 year old last week. Hopefully it'll work out.
