(On Friday on my way to school maybe 6" next to the house was clear.)
The daffodils and tulips are pushing up:

(Ours are always the first on the block... a combination of heat from the house and a sunny exposure.)
However, this means it's also the season for snow mold:

(It's the white, cobwebby-looking stuff.) Thankfully I haven't needed my Allegra much yet this season.
About an hour ago it was absolutely pouring rain, but it seems to have stopped for now.

Snow mold? Are you making that up? Is there such a thing as snow mold? You Canadians. :-P
I would not make that up! It's mold that grows on grass and other vegetation under the snow.
