Whoa... brains are strange things! (Yes, I knew this already, but I had it reiterated today.) Today I was listening to old episodes of Quirks & Quarks, and there was a fascinating article on brain surgery for depression. I'm not one of the people with the "refractory" ("treatment-resistant") forms. At least, I think the meds are working for me. Mostly. ;)
