New York

J's apartment doesn't have screens (I think most NY apartments don't). Today was lovely, so I have the windows open. A moth, or something that looks like a moth from across the room, just flew in.

It just occurred to me that fiber enthusiasts read my blog, and might become concerned. Never fear, it doesn't appear to be a clothes moth.

I let a moth in last night. It wasn't a clothes moth, however, my husband hates the darn things and he made it his job to kill the "son of a bitch". He finally killed it, but unfortunately he caught me laughing my butt off and rolling my eyes. He screamed at me "YOU! You are all worried about your wool-what if this thing got up there, huh?-roll your eyes, but I just saved your wool!"-Men, ugh

Everytime a moth came in the house, Grandma was encouraging every of us to kill it: "Go, go! Over there! To the right!..."
If you killed it, you got a proud "Good for you!" from her.
Can you believe it? I´m laughing, she was a Fiber Freak, wasn´t she?
