I had a look at the online preview, and this babette blanket looks really fun... but... um... 19 balls of koigu? That'll be around $200! I may get the magazine anyway, and see if I can slowly make something similar out of leftover bits of sock yarn. Anyone have leftover bits they'd like to be rid of? ;)

This is crochet... I just crochet over top of the ends. :)
