Eh?

Weasley Progress
Weasley Progress

For some reason, my Weasley makes me very happy. My colourwork isn't perfect, but is good enough. I certainly improved towards the top. Luckily the tweedy nature of the yarn disguises my poorer efforts.

How does the DishWasher work. Looks like the cheapest model on the market ,and that means it was at least 200 bucks. Isn't that crazy? Dishwashers cost way too much.

Works great, actually. It was the cheapest name-brand portable... GE, and $400 after all taxes, price matches, shipping, and rebates. I could have gone for something completely unknown from Walmart for less, but I wasn't comfortable with that.

Dishwashers do indeed cost way too much.

Brilliant Weasley! I think it looks fabulous. Color work is one thing I'm nervous about trying.

Thanks everyone!

Sara: It takes a bit of getting used to, but isn't all that bad. The main thing is to avoid pulling the strands too tight across the back. You might try practicing on a swatch, or something small, to gain confidence. I figured Weasley was a good "practice," since the "real" Weasleys were supposed to be sloppily made too.

I was curious about that, so I checked the book recently... they mentioned the sweaters being "lumpy," and that Harry's was both better made and didn't have an initial on it. In the words of the twins, Mrs Weasley put more effort in if you weren't family, and she figured Harry could remember his name. ;)
