Chocolate Chip Gingerbread Cookies
The lazy person's chocolate chip gingerbread cookies for a cookie party:
1. Mix dough, intending to make a gingerbread house. Put dough in fridge to cool.
2. Procrastinate. Lots.
3. Night of the cookie party, sprinkle chocolate chips on top of dough, roll it out (adding more chocolate chips as they spread out), cut with knife, separate, bake. If you're uptight about how your cookies look, eat all edge cookies yourself. (Eat at least a few anyway to test.)
Off to the party now, with still-warm cookies. ;)
