Wow!
I won the Summer of Socks photo contest! Wow! Thanks to everyone who voted for me. :)
(It seems that my head is now spinning even more than before!)
In answer to "why noricum": I hate trying to come up with unique identifiers for online stuff. I frequently resort to randomly opening the dictionary and picking something that looks unusual. Noricum was a province of the Roman empire, and was located similarly to the present-day Austria. I'm half Austrian, so it seemed appropriate. It was also untaken. ;)
