This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.
I love watching your sweaters grow =) One of my goals for this year is to really try this whole knitting thing and give it a fair chance, but I doubt I'll ever be comfortable enough for sweaters!
Happy New Year! =) Sending you energy that you accomplish all your goals, your yarn basket stay full, and all your WIP's turn into FO's =)
Beautiful colorway! I have never seen Noro yarn and am jealous as all hell about the color of this....someday. Is that expensive? What is the yardage, etc.
Sounds like you had a very relaxing, family holiday. Good for you.
Thanks Marvie! You really should give sweaters a try... I actually find them easier to finish than scarves, because they're more interesting. I re-taught myself to knit by making Weasley, so it can be done. :) Happy New Year to you too!
Deneen... silk garden is kind of expensive. I found this place: http://www.woolneedlework.com/Yarn/Silk_Garden_by_Noro_Yarn.shtml to be the cheapest. Pretty fast too, given how far it had to go.

woohoo! looks great. I love that colorway. (they discont'd it in kureyon but still have it in SG).
The SG gets a LOT softer with a wash, too, btw. :)
