Teaching Crochet

Kelli's doing really well! She practiced chaining and sc by herself, and has quite a respectable rectangle going! Today I showed her dc (which she practiced), and gave her a quick introduction to slip stitch, hdc, tr, increasing, decreasing, and combining stitches to make patterns. :)

She's also discovered the dangers of yarn shops... sorry Kelli! ;)

Kelli's doing really well because she has a great crochet teacher!!!

Thanks! Although I think it's more likely that she's a good learner, than that I'm a great teacher. I'm too "type A" to teach crochet, I think. (I resist ripping the work out of my students' hands, but all that resisting makes me crabby sometimes. ;) )
