Handspun

Handspun

Polwarth / kid mohair blend, self striping, 88 yards, 2-ply.

I carded and blended this on a drum carder, but I didn't realize you were supposed to pick the locks open first. (Whoops. I need to pay more attention to the instructor next time.) I just went with it, and produced a clumpy yarn.

This was also from Francine's exotics spinning class, mostly spun after the class was over. (Finished last night.)

Hey - it's not "clumpy" yarn, it's artisan yarn!

Yep! ;) I also used it to try out the long draw method... neat!
