This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.

Nicky
I brought my camera along for Friday's walk and Saturday's run, and put together a short video of what Nicky is like. Enjoy. (Or not.)
It's grainier than ususal because I shrunk it down for "web streaming".
Well, he's rather more active than your average dog. I definitely don't recommend this breed for someone looking for a "pet". Dad specifically bought him for hunting with. He really should be on a farm, rather than in the city, though.
That firewood bit cracked me up. You're definitely right about him needing to be on a farm; he was so happy on his run! The one suggestion I had for the rabbit incidents is to have him sit/stay and then turn around and walk in the other direction. He's a smart dog, obviously. I don't know many dogs who can untangle themselves like that.
Not really into the "heel" thing, is he? :-) The rabbit bit was so funny listening to the noises he made: "I want it! I want it! Please, please let me chase it!"
Well, I like cats except for how severely allergic I am to them. :(
And no... he definitely doesn't "heel". I wouldn't mind if he'd just pull a bit less... (where the camera gets jerky and you can hear my footfalls? That's because I'm doing all I can not to be pulled over!)

Wow, I'm exhausted just watching him. Thanks for reminding me why we can't add a dog to our family just yet.
Zoe thinks he's cute.

ha! he reminds me of my sil's dog. and well, my boxer ging, but she is pretty relaxed when I want her to be. :)

Yep, firewood is the only thing that lasts any length of time with him. Although eventually dad's going to run out of a woodpile...
Empty peanut butter containers are entertaining for us watching him. ;) (And that's about how long they last too.)
I'll try the changing directions thing, but it probably won't work... he's bred to be a hunting dog, and that's also what dad wants him for.
Dad taught him to untangle himself. He's pretty good at it.
Oh, and yeah... he *loves* the running!
Awww! He gets so happy for his walk!

See, this is why I like cats. ;-)
