This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.
I absolutely LOVE this! I think it is so cool that you are usuing random squares to make it all- I'm inspired to make one of my own! I just learned how to crochet, and this would be a cool beginner project- any suggestions on where to find some good square patterns?
Thanks! I bought a couple books of squares and stitch patterns, and played around a bit. Dishcloth patterns also are generally square. Plus, whenever you need to "swatch" for another project, make it big enough to use as an afghan square. :)

Overall, I think the afghan looks nicely balanced.
Does Bobbles the Sheep show up? He's hard to spot in the photo, but I know that photos can be misleading.
H
He shows up a bit better in real life than in the photo, but not as much as I'd like. However, he isn't bad enough that I want to rip that square out.

I like it. It appears pretty balanced. Are you going to sew the squares together or crochet them together?
I'm going to sew them together.
