Dressed For Success

Sorels (rated to -40), wool toque, wool scarf (wrapped around both my face and forehead), winter coat (*with* extra liner and hood up), alpaca mittens and hands in pockets: cold? What cold?

Um... could someone point me in the direction of the sidewalk? I can't see...

;)

LOL I've actually been out in -45C (-62C with windchill) (that's -50F/-80F) weather and - WHOA! - that'll keep ya awake! Or put you to sleep and you die. No fun. I'm now far from central Alaska in the south south south - hurray!

And now I am a total wimp and I wear my eddie bauer parka and people laugh at me, but I'm warm.

Actually, I don't think Winnipeg's weather has been all that crazy... it's the west coast and out east that's reallly wacky. We've had snow in Winnipeg since... well, I can't remember. I think it snowed before Halloween, but I was down in New York then.
