Fulled Bag

Fulled Bag
Fulled Bag

Here's the bag post-fulling. Now I need to add a lining and some closures. Buttons, or magnetic snaps? I'm thinking magnetic snaps. I'll decide after I have the lining sewn in.

This bag is nice and roomy for using tupperware containers. :)

Cute-you could sew in velcro as a closure too (since it's gonna be a lunch bag). How are you going to insulate it?

I could, but I hate sewing velcro. :P

That's the beauty of the felted wool... it's it's own insulation! The lining is just some cotton batik fabric that is pretty and matches the wool.

I found a magnetic clasp to be pretty easy to put in when I made a bag a few weeks ago. I like your lunch bag. Can't wait to see it lined and finished.

I like it!! The shape is very pleasing, as well as the color. I can see bringing it to work if I wore tweed suits...

Thanks!

I LOVE it. Did you design the pattern? I would add a bit of color to jazz it up. Maybe a needle felted initial or flower? Something to customize it and proclaim that it's a work of art.

Thanks! It's based on the Sophie bag, but with a plain strap handle and a flap to close the top. I have a batik fabric that matches it really well for the lining. :)
