This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.

Snow
Snow is falling outside in big, white, fluffy flakes. I'm not wearing my glasses, but from here the snowflake clusters look to be the size of grapes, some even larger. I love big, fluffy flakes! Of course, this means I'll have to shovel later, but I don't mind. Shovelling on the weekend is nicest, because you aren't tired from a day at work, and you can choose when to do it.

I wish it would snow here (I know, be careful what you wish for), but it would so put me more in a holiday mood. It's in the low 60's here again (which is much warmer than it normally is here), we don't even need jackets!
(says the Texan) What happens when you don't shovel? I get the driveway, but can you just trudge down a snowy sidewalk? Or is it the fear that eventually you'll have 2 feet of snow between you and your car?
Well, my grandma has trouble with walking, so having either deep snow, lumpy snow, or icy snow (or a combination thereof) would mean she pretty much couldn't visit. It's nicer to walk on cleared sidewalks too.
"Eventually" have two feet of snow? Heck, we frequently get a two-foot dump at least once per winter. (And having snow come over the tops of your boots is not nice.
Then there would be the fun when it gets to be spring and slushy... yuck!
No, you definitely want to shovel the stuff.
