Yarn Porn
Olympic announcement: I now have yarn for my Canada sweater, and this will be my olympic knitting! I somehow doubt I'll manage an entire sweater in 16 days, but I'll give it my best shot.
In return for having fun at AC Moore this afternoon, I was allowed to select $50 worth of yarn for free!!! That wasn't quite a sweater's worth, so I bought two more balls. I'm not sure it's the "perfect" yarn, but for $14, I'm *not* complaining!!! ;)

arucania nature wool is actually supposed to be pretty good! I love that red (and haven't seen that colorway at my ac moore!). woohoo, I can't wait to see your Canada sweater. :)

Yay, Andrea! I hoped you would find some way to do your Canada sweater for the knitting olympics. It just seems right!
Good knitting! (Or what should you say to a champion knitter? "Break a leg" always sounds cruel, but it might give a knitter more knitting time?)

Hmmm... a broken leg would probably result in lots of waiting room knitting time, but only if I had my yarn with me. ;)
