Dream

I had that dream again where my teeth were falling out. I think two molars and an eye tooth... and all had exceedingly long roots. They were about an inch to an inch and a half long. How on earth woud a tooth with a root like that fall out? And when one fell out, the ones next to it would get loose and threaten to fall out too, because they no longer had the support of the missing tooth on the one side.

Not only were my teeth falling out, but the one molar came out in two halves (like it had actually been two teeth stuck together), and had lots of cavities where the two met, because I hadn't realized they were two teeth, and hadn't been able to clean in between them.

I was trying to get my mom to schedule an emergency dental appointment, because I knew that if they went back in right away, I might be able to keep them. However, mom thought there was no problem waiting a few days. I knew that would be too long, but she didn't think the dentist would be able to fit me in with such short notice.

I tried shoving the eyetooth back in, and it seemed to stick. I was worried about the double molar, though, because it had so many cavities. I'm not sure why I didn't try shoving the other molar back in.

Strange dream.

Now to define self-stress... the combinatorial rigidity version, not the me version. ;)

I've had that dream (well, not that EXACT dream -- I've never had inchlong teeth, and two teeth that I'd always thought were one) before. It's pretty scary while it's happening.

I will say I'm glad I haven't had it recently, though.

I used to have a similar dream a lot. I read somewhere that dreams of your teeth falling out mean that you are sick. Oddly enough, after my thyroid surgeries the dreams stopped.

Hopefully it's just a one time weird dream for you...

I get teeth-falling-out dreams occasionally, but havne't noticed them associated with anything. Stress, maybe. ;)

I'm actually feeling pretty good these days, depression/sleeping-wise.

Add me to the list of people who've dreamt about teeth falling out! I used to have it on and off a few years ago, not had it recently. I'd love to find out what it means...

I have had dreams like this. Usually it is because I am grinding my teeth at night. I also have had dreams about eating too much gum (like 20 pieces) and then having it stuck to my teeth and mouth and not being able to get the gum out of my mouth...then feeling this suffocating type feeling...not so good of a dream.
