Thrummed Mitten (in progress)

Thrummed Mitten WIP

I can't wait until these are done! They are going to be *so* cozy. :) I love how the thrums look like little white hearts on the lovely red Manos del Uruguay yarn. (And working on them seems to have caused the weather to warm up too! The more progress I make, the better the weather is!)

Awww! I´m loving this mitten! Go go go Andrea! Finish the pair so you can wear them soon!

Thanks!

I'm trying my hardest... this is the only knitting project I'm actively working on right now. I figure I'll try working on just one project at a time for a while, since I had to put most of them away so my living room would be less cluttered for company at Christmas. ;)

I love these! They do look like hearts, I thought they were supposed to until I read your post, lol. I bet they're so warm and comfy.

Thanks! They're just regular knit stitches, but I picked the colours to make them look like hearts. :)

Wow, those are so nice! I have no idea what 'strumming' means, but it's certainly cool looking :D

Thanks! A "thrum" is a bit of roving that is knit into the fabric, leaving tails inside. They imitate fleece mittens, and are really warm.
