iTunes

I updated my iTunes today, and now for some reason the iTunes store thinks I live in Japan. I'm not sure whether that's because of the update, or because the store is acting up today. (I don't visit all that frequently... I went to see what this week's free music was, which I forget to do most weeks.)

Either Japan doesn't have free music, or they write "free" in Japanese. (I can't read Japanese.)

It's not limited to upgrades. Some people who haven't upgraded have run into it too. See this web page for a description of what's happened and how to fix it.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I just realized I can set it back to the US store, but now it doesn't like my password. When I try to answer questions, it doesn't like my birthday (the first question). I'll check the page you sent to see if it covers this too.

Yippee... figured that out too. It wanted my e-mail address, not a userid.
