This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.

Hmmm...
I wonder how SWS would look as a Klaralund? This pink is purdy, and different from my Noro Silk Garden #8 Klaralund. (I *really* like my Klaralund!) I must get a chance to go out and pet SWS...

I've pet it. IMO, it's not all that soft: I couldn't wear it against my skin, for example. Wool is still wool and still scratchy.
However, your tolerance for wool may vary (IIRC, it's higher than mine.)
The blue colorway is what I like, myself, and the one with blues and browns. I wouldn't make a garmet from it but I started picturing lovely felted bags when I saw it (along with the "I felt!" swatch helpfully provided by Paton's).
I looked for it tonight, but only at AC Moore and they didn't have it. I did, however, see a new superwash wool by Moda Dea that was really really soft. Too 'spensive, but felt very nice, and 100% wool. Just surprised me at AC Moore!
