Okay, I know why most of you are here, and it isn't for photos from my cross-continent trip. Nope. You're here for the YARN PORN. Admit it. I know you are. You want yarn porn? Here you are!
First up, an amazing swap package from Bron!
Don't you wish you were Bron's friend too? *grin* Okay... I admit I bribed her with socks and stitch markers. But still... she was awfully generous, don't you think?
Next, an adorable sock bag from Trek:
It's lined with the same pretty flower fabric as the heart. Trek sells these (and other bags) too, if you're so jealous that you need your own bag. ;)
From Vicki, I got one of those cool row counters, two stitch markers, and two beautiful earrings (which I will probably also use as stitch markers, due to my stupid allergies):
I've included the instructions for the row counter in the shot, so you'll probably have to click through to the big version to see details. (I hope the details are visible there.)
As a going away present from M at SNB, I got Poetry in Stitches!
I can't wait to make something from here! After I've unpacked a bit more and am more settled, I'll show you some of my favourites. If you're impatient, you can check out the yarn kits page.
Winnipeg sock yarn from Jess, just because!
Jess is so nice!
And today, I picked up my SSYC order from the post office!
Strangely, Canada Post charged me duty on the yarn from Jess (~$8), but not from SSYC. I'm going to appeal that, but I won't worry too much, since they didn't charge me for the other.
Okay... that takes care of the mail, now for my adventure at Ram Wools. First the yarn:
That's two balls of regia at nice sale prices, two balls of Kroy for $2 each(!), and four "grab bags" for $6 each!!! (And that's nice yarn in them thar grab bags.)
Next, the patterns:
The Fiber Trends pattern was $2, four were 50 cents each, and the one on the lower left was a grab bag of five patterns for $1:
Okay... I think that takes care of everything. When I get the energy, I'll tell you all about what was in the grab bags. ;)

Holy cow! What a haul! How great to have all that waiting for your arrival. Sure helps perk you up after that move, eh?

Sometimes it's good to be me. ;)
