Also, I need to read this post on shortest paths on convex polytopes more carefully, and read some of the papers being referenced.
(I was keeping these windows open to deal with later, but I need to reboot after a software update. I'm still reading my brother's paper, and still need to unpack. Then I'll have a chance to sort out which of the gazillion trip photos to upload and post about.)
