This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.
Mom's socks are made out of Elann Sock It To Me! Collection Esprit, colour "seashore". They don't have it in stock any more... I bought it about a year ago, and then didn't use it because I didn't like the other pair of Esprit socks I made. However, after discovering they fit my mom, and that she loves them, I "destashed" the yarn. ;) You can probably find the same colourway in Cascade Fixation.
I now have 9.5 pairs of toe socks... I'm currently working on the koigu pairs, and then may do another couple pairs in Fortissima Cotton, but I do think I have basically enough now. ;) I sure hope she enjoys them!
