Right vs Left Brain

I see the "dancer" twirling clockwise, but I identify more with the list for the opposite brain side. Strange. I wonder if they got things mixed up, or if they just have a bad description of the halves?

What do you see, and does that agree with what you identify more with? How easily can you get her to change directions? (I had a really hard time.)

This is just in case you were bored. ;)

i saw anti-clockwise at first and now that i've seen clockwise (not so hard to do for me) i can't go back. fun post.

(oops, just wanted to change this post) to say that i identify with both. i have always been perceived by right brained people as left brained and by left brained people as right brained.

i see clockwise too, and I am almost completely left-brained, so that makes no sense. I can't even SEE the counter-clockwise way.... weird.

I see counterclockwise, and have always thought I was a left brain person. But I identified with most of the right brain list, with the exception of risk taking and spatial perception.

I see clockwise and can't get it to change no matter what tricks for changing I use. Speaking from a scientific standpoint the whole "left-brain/right-brain" thing is basically made-up (hemispheric differences don't work that way) so that's probably why you don't match up. :-)

aha! coworker and i spent some time looking at it at different speeds and when slowed down, I can see it in both directions depending on what I want to... heh. focusing on just the feet/legs portion makes a difference too. :)

Thanks Bethany! (Having a brain scientist for a friend has benefits!)

DBH (Dear Balding Husband) and I tried different things. He's left-brained, I'm right-brained.

He looked at the shadow of the foot and got her to reverse.

We both read the characteristics and then went back to the picture and it had reversed.

Peripheral vision helps. I couldn't get her to reverse until I looked at her with my peripheral vision.

Lots of fun, noricum, thanks.

According to the list I'm fully left-brained - but she's still turning clockwise.

I'm totally baffled. I see it counter-clockwise, and I can't get it to change for the life of me, lol.
