Death and Rebirth of a Thrift Store Sweater

Two more soft trees...

...and a case for my nostepinne....

...and the sweater is pretty much used up:

So, in total that's two slippers patched (an inner and outer patch for each slipper sole), a nostepinne case, a niddy noddy case, a swift case, and three soft trees. Not bad!

I'm kind of tempted to figure out something to do with what's left. ;)

cut the pieces up really small, mix them with some polyfil & use them to stuff something. if you mix it with polyfil, it won't be so lumpy. or you could mix it with polypellets, and not need quite so many (they come in such tiny bags!)

I'm a little confused by the soft trees. Are they intended to be Christmas decorations? Or do they serve some fibercrafting purpose of which I am wholly ignorant? Or are they perhaps related to computational geometry instead?

Enlighten me :)

Yep, they're just Christmas ornaments.

you can use them as stuffing! Or if you really shred it up fine, you could blend it into fiber and make tweed. Or sew up the chunks together and call it a cat toy (make at least one area that is stuffed with catnip, and then the other bits dangling off.
