Mini At Drive-In

J and I took Mini to the Big Island Drive-In. The drive-in is the only theater in town, and they only show one movie a night. The night we were able to go was "Over The Hedge"... rather funny. :)

Since Flin Flon is so far north, the movie couldn't start until 10:30 pm, and even then it was only dusk. It was nearly midnight when the movie finished, and then we got to go back to the cabin. By boat. (Did I remember to mention we can only get to it by boat?)

J drove the boat, and would like to point out that (a) the lake is not round, (b) there are islands and reefs, and (c) the boat was equipped with a flashlight (held by me).

On the trip back we stopped to watch the stars (and milky way, satellites, and shooting stars), then the northern lights (a rather disappointing show compared to other times, but the first time J has seen northern lights).
