This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.
A common sight in Winnipeg. When cars stop at red lights, they run out to wash windows for change. A lot of people find them annoying.

A common sight in Houston as well. I paid one, once. 'Cause my windshield needed washing badly, and I was actually appreciative of the service.
Most of the time, though, I just shake my head 'no' at them and they keep on going. I've had a few of 'em wash my windshield anyway, even after I said 'no.' Needless to say, they did not a donation.
common sight in DC and Atlanta too... not so much Seattle. Usually in Atlanta they did it anyway if you said no, trying to get people to pay em anyway. Though usually in Atlanta and DC it's older guys.
Very common sight in Philadelphia, usually homeless people with dirty water, newspapers and a squeegee. They almost try to bully you, by smearing them up a bit first. Most people ignore them because their wash job tends to make things worse.
