This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.

Yarn: It's not just for knitting.
Yesterday J needed to attach his bike repair tool to his bike. Kitchen cotton to the rescue!
Today I used a scrap of sock yarn to repair the apartment doorbell thingy. :)

Yarn saved me on my vacation in May when we were driving 14 hours from Washington State to California and the arm on my glasses broke. I had to crochet a strap around my glasses to hold them on so I could make my share of driving on the trip.
I have used yarn to hang birdfeeders, fly traps by the pool, help tether the thing in the pool for closing it, on the pool thermometer.....it's handy stuff!
