This is my own little soapbox. Disclaimer: It is not written by someone you think you know, but by her evil twin. Absolutely nothing said here is true. Everything, including the last statement, is a complete work of fiction. This blog is completely boring, and includes entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of socks I've crocheted, and the occasional rant. These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.

Rest In Peace
Rest in peace, neighbour. You were a wonderful person, and I'm glad I knew you.
He had a good long life... he was nearly 96, and still living independently. (He even drove himself to the hospital!) He stormed the beaches in France in WWII, his great-uncle wrote "In Flanders Fields", and, as a kid, I always wanted to reach past his fence to eat the raspberries in his garden. (I resisted.) When I told him this recently, he said that he wished that I had, and asked if I wanted any of the apples from his tree. He was a great character. :)
