How Cute! I love the colors. I've been looking for a good toes up sock pattern for sock yarn or fingering weight yarn... Where can I find the pattern you're using?
Thanks! I had seen that pattern, but your heel mod is great. I don't knit, but do envy the soft fabric that technique creates. I don't necessarily want to emulate the ladders where needles meet though! This will help a lot. I'm also planning on trying this pattern (http://crochetme.com/patterns /ultimate-crocheted-socks)… by any chance, have you tried it?
Oh... I should mention that my other mods are just some increases before the heel, decreases after, and increases for the calf. Plus I think I now do more "steps" at the heel than what the pattern calls for.
I have to admit that I've actually only done the one pattern. ;) I really like how I'm doing it now, and just play with different yarns and striping. Plus it means I never have to look at the pattern. That pattern you linked to does look interesting, though.
